The Greenworks Pro has a higher MPH and a higher CFM than the Makita leaf blower. This means it will blow air with more velocity and with more force than the Makita. They both have a full force run-time of 20 minutes but Greenworks Pro can run more than double the time of the Makita when they are both at lower speeds. The Greenworks Pro blower has a higher voltage system which typically offers longer run-times.

Conclusion

The Greenworks Pro is about 5% more powerful than the Makita. And the Greenworks Pro can run up to 70 minutes at low speeds which is more than double the Makita’s 28 minutes. The Greenwors Pro wins a head to head comparison.

If you only need a leaf blower and a few other battery powered yard tools, then the Greenworks Pro is your best deal.

If you have Makita tools, or plan to buy more than just battery powered yard tools, then the Makita XBU02 is a good choice. Makita is a well known and sturdy brand with over 220 tools that can use the same battery as this Makita leaf blower. If you are curious about the Makita tool line up, take a look at these Makita tools.

Great review! Both are good products and you’ve given a clear review on which product a buyer should consider. I love the lithium-ion batteries and how much longer they last than the battery packs of the past.
